Welcome Back

Following Friday's Skype session with Adesola and Helen it feels so good to be back! We were given a clear tutorial on the new layout of unihub including being introduced to two new members of the faculty; Michelle the librarian and Maria a supervisor.

It was exciting to hear that the BAPP course has been revalidated over the summer and is now called the Professional Practice of Arts and Creative Industries. I also really appreciate that the calendar dates for the entire year have been posted in advance giving me plenty of time to make note of these in my diary and with each skype session having a focus I am able to prepare more accurately prior to the call.  Knowing that I am not excluded from the Skype calls that are not for my module is also lovely to hear as I may wish to revisit some thoughts from Module 1 in order to help me progress with Module 2.

I was slightly concerned prior to the welcome back Skype as to whether the campus sessions were mandatory however Adesola cleared this up by informing us that the Campus Sessions are there if you are able to attend and if not by reading the blogs of the attendees it will feel as though we were there and we are able to carry on the conversation via blog posts.

I am really looking forward to getting stuck in with Module 2 and wish everyone the best of luck!
